Kickoff Meeting Updates

The first two meetings for the Livermore and Pleasanton Solar Initiative have been very successful. Held a week apart from one another, we've been very pleased by the turnout and very gratified that people have been responding so well to our presentation. Jacob has been busy keeping up with all the follow up site evaluations that he has been doing, and we are already 3 houses closer to our goal of 40, with a total of 25 kW of electric production. Way to go Livermore and Pleasanton.

Every presentation that we do is different, because of the mix of people and the questions that are asked. Last night we had a new question—what happens if your solar panels are stolen? It turns out that one of the participants had a neighbor who actually experienced theft of panels. We love the stories, and we love being able to answer your questions, so thanks for participating.

We have scheduled more meetings for the future. You can see REC and Sun Run on July 10th at 7 PM at The Livermore Public Library - 1188 So. Livermore Ave, Livermore, Ca 94550, and also on July 19th at The Cultural Arts Center Studio - 4477 Black Ave- Pleasanton, CA. But please don’t feel that you need to wait for a presentation to talk with us! If you want more information, call Jacob Averbuck, REC’s Livermore and Pleasanton Solar Energy Consultant, directly at (510) 846-7220. Jacob will be happy to talk with you about your unique situation, and tailor a personal approach to solar that will suit your needs.

And don’t forget to look for the REC truck at the Livermore Rodeo on June 14th! See you there!
